A 52-year-old woman from the Australian Capital Territory has been arrested and charged following an alleged assault on a cabin crew member during a domestic flight. The incident occurred on a Canberra to Perth service on December 13, 2025, according to police reports.

Authorities state that the woman was behaving erratically towards another passenger while the aircraft prepared for takeoff. When a crew member intervened to check on her welfare, the accused passenger allegedly forcibly grabbed the arm and head of the flight attendant.
The flight continued to Western Australia, where the woman was escorted from the aircraft upon landing. Police reported that she remained argumentative and aggressive towards officers at the airport.
