With 50 days until the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Top Trumps has released a special edition card set featuring the top 200 footballers in the world. The game, titled Top Trumps World Football Stars Top 200, is available at Big W for $9 per pack, with six packs needed to collect all players.
Each card includes stats such as age, goals, trophies, height, caps, and a Top Trumps ranking, plus nationality, position, market value, World Cup appearances, and a fact file. The set combines men's and women's players into one list, reflecting the breadth of elite talent.
Teenage star Lamine Yamal is ranked No.1, followed by Vinícius Júnior at No.2 and Jude Bellingham at No.3. Kylian Mbappé (No.6) and Rodri (No.7) round out the top 10, while Lionel Messi (No.16) and Cristiano Ronaldo (No.19) sit outside the top 15, signaling a generational shift.
Aitana Bonmatí (No.8) and Caroline Graham Hansen (No.10) feature in the top 10. Sam Kerr is the only Australian on the list, ranked No.74, highlighting the competitiveness of the global rankings.
