The motorcyclist was riding along Concord Road when a white sedan hit him and fled the scene. He was left lying on the road with injuries and was later taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is reported to be stable.

Officers from Burwood Police Area Command have launched a manhunt for the driver of the white sedan. They are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward. The crash occurred near the intersection with Walker Street, a busy area at that hour.
