Live Reporting: Two dead in Melbourne crash
Two people have been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Melbourne’s southeast. A car lost control and crashed into a tree on the Princes Highway in Dandenong around 1:20 am on Wednesday. The driver and a passenger both died at the scene.
The Princes Highway is closed in both directions between Robinson Street and Potter Street, with traffic disruptions expected to continue for most of the morning.
Emergency services are on site, and motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
