Taylor expressed delight at Williamson's comeback, stating, "How good was it to see Sam back from injury. Tonight was another test for him and he held his technique at the right moment."

Kaylee McKeown, a five-time Olympic gold medallist, raced to victory in the 200m individual medley with a time of 2:09.22. Additionally, Alex Perkins demonstrated versatility by adding a 50m backstroke gold to her earlier wins in the 50m and 100m butterfly events, while Lizzy Dekkers impressed with a 2:05.39 win in the 200m butterfly.
