The 2025 Supercars championship is set for a spectacular climax this weekend with an inaugural grand final event, broadcast live and free across Australia on the Seven Network and 7plus Sport.
Four-Way Fight for the Championship
After a long and dramatic season, the title race narrows to a high-stakes showdown between four elite drivers. Broc Feeney, Chaz Mostert, Will Brown, and Kai Allen are the only contenders left in the hunt for the prestigious championship crown. The final battle will play out on the demanding and unforgiving street circuit of Adelaide, where any mistake could be costly.
Molly Taylor, a rally champion and part of the broadcast team, captured the excitement, stating, "It all comes down to Adelaide. After a season packed with twists, shocks and razor-thin margins, we’ve got four drivers capable of walking away as the 2025 Supercars champion." She highlighted the unique strengths of each contender, from Feeney's young-star dominance in the Sprint Cup to Mostert's reputation as the ultimate racer, Brown's powerhouse form, and the rise of a future superstar in Allen.
Comprehensive Live Coverage on Seven
Viewers will not miss a moment of the action thanks to extensive coverage led by a veteran broadcasting team. Coverage begins at 1pm AEDT on both Saturday and Sunday, headlined by two critical 78-lap races that will ultimately decide the champion.
The broadcast will be fronted by Sunrise sport presenter and motorsport expert Mark Beretta, who will be live from Adelaide. He is joined by Supercars co-driver and 7Motorsport host Jack Perkins and rally champion Molly Taylor. From the commentary box, legends Mark Skaife and Neil Crompton will provide expert analysis, with Garth Tander, Mark Larkham, Chad Neylon, and Riana Crehan delivering reports directly from the pit lane.
NASCAR Stars Make Supercars Debut
Adding an international flavour to the weekend, the roles between Supercars and NASCAR will be reversed. Following Shane van Gisbergen's successful move to America, two NASCAR talents are making their debut in Australian racing.
Austin Cindric, a celebrated Daytona 500 winner, will make his Supercars debut piloting a Mustang for Tickford Racing. Meanwhile, Jesse Love, a 20-year-old rising star who just won the NASCAR Xfinity series title, will make his debut in the Super2 category driving a Commodore for Image Racing.
Fans are guaranteed an incredible finish to the season. This championship battle embodies everything Supercars is known for – intense pressure, high drama, and a title that will likely remain undecided until the very final laps on Sunday afternoon.
