Australian tennis star Thanasi Kokkinakis has given fans a glimpse into his gym bag, sharing the haircare products he uses to combat dandruff. The 27-year-old has partnered with CeraVe for the brand's first-ever haircare range, which includes a shampoo, conditioner, and 2-in-1 formula designed to target dandruff at the scalp.
Kokkinakis, who spends hours on court daily, says excessive sweating often leads to scalp irritation and dandruff. 'Finding a shampoo and conditioner that helps deal with that has been a game-changer for me,' he said. The products contain dermatologist-approved ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and three essential ceramides to maintain hydration.
Dandruff affects up to 50 per cent of Australians, making it a common concern. Kokkinakis admits many athletes ignore the issue, hoping it resolves on its own. 'Using the right product to target the problem makes a big difference. Start with your scalp – that's where healthy hair begins,' he advised.
The CeraVe haircare range is priced from $19.99 and available exclusively at Chemist Warehouse. Kokkinakis, who already used CeraVe skincare, said the brand's dermatologist-developed approach gives him confidence. 'I like understanding there's proper research behind something I'm using all the time,' he added.
