Aquabliss Buys McKeon Swim School, Promises Continuity

The McKeon family has sold their Illawarra-based McKeon Swim School after more than 40 years of ownership, with Aquabliss taking over immediately.

The family informed clients via email on Monday, March 30, stating the decision was made to secure the school's long-term future. The school began in 1982 when Ric McKeon took over a coaching licence, officially starting in 1991 at Wollongong University.

Aquabliss, which operates swimming schools in six locations, will maintain the McKeon Swim School brand at Unanderra and Towradgi. The new owners assured clients of no changes to day-to-day operations, fees, programs, teaching methods, or staff.
