Grey Toyota Hilux sought in new appeal
Investigators have revealed a significant new line of enquiry, centring on a vehicle spotted near the Lowanna Street unit approximately a week after the death. Police are keen to locate the owner of a grey Toyota Hilux utility seen in the area on the evening of Saturday, December 20.
An ACT Policing spokeswoman confirmed investigators believe the owner of the vehicle may hold information crucial to the case and wish to speak with them. A photograph of the Hilux has been released to the public to aid in identification.
Death treated as suspicious
From the outset, police have treated the man's death as suspicious due to the specific circumstances surrounding the discovery of his body. Detective Acting Superintendent of the north district, Anthony Brown, has previously emphasised the suspicious nature of the incident.
No arrests have been made in connection with the death at this stage. The investigation remains active and ongoing, with forensic and other lines of enquiry being pursued.
