Authorities in New South Wales are appealing for public assistance following a disturbing incident on a Sydney bus last month.

Alleged Incident on Public Transport

Police allege a man engaged in a lewd act while onboard a public bus. Emergency services were alerted about 5.30pm on November 20 after reports were received concerning the man's behaviour.

The incident occurred on a bus travelling between Westmead Hospital and Rouse Hill in Sydney's western suburbs. Officers from the Police Transport Command were informed that the alleged act took place while the vehicle was in motion.

Description of Man Released

As part of their ongoing investigation, police have released a description of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.

The person of interest is described as Caucasian, aged between 45 and 50 years old. He has short blond hair and wears glasses.

At the time of the incident, he was reportedly wearing:

  • A blue T-shirt
  • Black shorts
  • Beige boots
  • Long black-and-orange socks

Appeal for Information

Investigators are urging anyone who recognises the man or who has any information about the incident to come forward. This includes anyone who was travelling on the bus route that evening and may have witnessed the event.

Members of the public can provide information by contacting the Police Transport Command directly. Alternatively, details can be given anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
