Irene Selmes was discovered deceased in the bedroom of her Comet Street property in Melonba after emergency services responded to a call about 12.30pm on Saturday, October 4. The grandmother was last seen alive approximately 15 hours earlier when she went to bed around 9.30pm on Friday, October 3.
