A 28-year-old Cairns North woman faces similar charges, including driving under the influence of a drug.

Other traffic-related matters include a 22-year-old Mooroobool man charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and evading police, while a 19-year-old Manunda woman is accused of driving without a license and failing to display P plates.

Drug Offenses

Drug-related charges feature prominently on the list. A 41-year-old Bungalow man is charged with possession of dangerous drugs and drug utensils, while a 30-year-old Westcourt man faces two counts of possessing dangerous drugs. A 25-year-old Manunda woman is charged with possessing drug utensils and failing to dispose of a needle and syringe safely.

More serious drug charges include a 33-year-old Manoora man accused of supplying dangerous drugs to another person and possessing tainted property. A 45-year-old Manunda man faces charges of producing dangerous drugs and possessing anything used in the commission of a drug offense.

Assault and Violence

Several defendants are appearing on assault charges. A 36-year-old Manoora man is charged with assault occasioning bodily harm while armed with a weapon, and a 27-year-old Manoora man faces charges of assaulting a police officer and obstructing police. A 32-year-old Manunda man is charged with serious assault of a police officer.

Domestic violence matters also feature, with a 41-year-old Manoora man charged with contravening a domestic violence order and a 39-year-old Bungalow woman facing similar charges.

Property and Other Offenses

Property-related charges include a 29-year-old Manunda man accused of stealing a vehicle and unlawful use of a motor vehicle. A 33-year-old Manoora man is charged with fraud and possessing tainted property. A 24-year-old Cairns North man faces charges of entering a dwelling with intent to commit an indictable offense.

Other matters include a 35-year-old Bungalow man charged with possessing child exploitation material and a 31-year-old Manoora man accused of making a false declaration.

Court Proceedings

Magistrate Cathy McLaughlin will preside over the majority of matters in Court 1, while Magistrate Robert Spencer will hear cases in Court 3. The court list is subject to change, and defendants are advised to seek legal representation if they have not already done so.
