Major Adelaide Investigation Uncovers Alleged Child Exploitation, Brothel, and Bestiality
Two people have been charged following a significant investigation into child exploitation material that allegedly revealed a secret brothel and evidence of bestiality in Adelaide's northern suburbs. The South Australian Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (JACET), a collaborative effort between SA Police and the Australian Federal Police (AFP), executed a search warrant at a residential property on Wednesday as part of an ongoing probe into online child exploitation material.
Disturbing Discoveries at the Property
Upon reviewing electronic devices seized from the home, authorities allegedly uncovered child exploitation material, along with evidence indicating that the residents had engaged in bestiality. Additionally, the property was allegedly being operated as a brothel. The RSPCA was called to the scene to assist with the investigation, highlighting the multifaceted nature of the alleged offenses.
Charges and Legal Proceedings
A 39-year-old man residing at the property was arrested and charged with multiple offenses, including possessing child exploitation material, managing a brothel, bestiality, and ill-treatment of an animal. A 33-year-old woman was also charged with bestiality and ill-treatment of an animal. Both individuals have been granted bail and are scheduled to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date. Additional electronic devices were confiscated for forensic analysis to further the investigation.

Detective Chief Inspector George Fenwick, Officer in Charge of the Special Crimes Investigation Section, emphasized the dedication of law enforcement teams in protecting children and upholding community standards. "These allegations represent a heinous and blatant breach of the law and a profound violation of community standards and expectations," he stated. "We will continue to work with our partners to identify, investigate, and prosecute anyone who seeks to exploit or harm those in the community who cannot protect themselves."
