In a suspected gangland incident in Sydney's west, a man has allegedly been kidnapped, assaulted, and forced into a vehicle, leading to the arrest of five individuals. The target, a man aged in his 30s, was reportedly attacked on Eve Street in Guildford around 11:30 PM on Monday by a group of men.
Victim Identified and Linked to Crime Syndicate
The victim is believed to be Emilio Chalhoub, who is known as a supposed bodyguard to Sydney rapper Ali Younes. Chalhoub has alleged connections to the Alameddine crime syndicate, adding a layer of complexity to the ongoing investigation. Discovery of Vehicle and Rescue of Victim
The suspected getaway vehicle, thought to be Chalhoub's Ford Ranger, was later found partially burnt out on Belmore Street in Villawood, approximately five kilometers southwest of the crime scene. Police acted swiftly, locating Chalhoub at a property in Casula, southwest Sydney, around 12:30 AM on Tuesday. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition, having suffered facial injuries from the assault.

Following the incident, five men were arrested on nearby Kane Place and taken to Liverpool Police Station for further questioning. Police reported that three men arrived at the home looking for Emilio but instead assaulted Bassam, chasing him down and beating him with a baseball bat, as well as stabbing him in the leg. Locals witnessed the violent encounter, raising concerns about ongoing safety issues in the community.
