Gymgoers are going crazy over a savvy fast-food menu hack that's 'loaded with protein' for a fraction of the cost. One fitness enthusiast discovered that you could order singular chicken patties at Hungry Jack's — with two amounting to 40g of protein for under $4.

At his local drive-through, the TikToker asked for the bizarre order of 'two grilled chicken patties on their own'. 'That's 160 calories and 40g protein for under $3.70. What a ripper,' he said. In another viral video, the same health fanatic invited his mate to try the menu hack too. 'We have the best high protein, low calorie food hack in Australia. All for $1.85,' he said. '[I'm going to] grab five of those and meal prep for the next few days.'

A spokesperson from Hungry Jack's told news.com.au that the chain is always happy to accommodate these kinds of requests from its customers. 'Hungry Jack's offers better choices and will customise orders to meet guest preferences,' they said.
