Critical Crash Sparks Major Police Investigation

Police in Perth have launched a public appeal for information following a severe traffic collision in Mirrabooka that left a motorcyclist with life-threatening injuries. The incident occurred on Monday morning, just after 9am on December 29, 2025, sending emergency services rushing to the scene.

Details of the Collision

The crash happened on Boyare Avenue near the intersection with Honeywell Avenue. According to initial reports from the Major Crash Investigation Section, the collision involved two vehicles: a silver Ford Falcon XR6 sedan and a Stark Varg electric off-road motorcycle.

The rider of the motorcycle, a 30-year-old man, sustained critical injuries in the impact. Paramedics treated him at the scene before transporting him via ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Investigators confirmed that the driver of the Ford Falcon sedan left the scene immediately after the crash. However, authorities have since located the driver, who is now cooperating with police and assisting with their inquiries.

Officers from the Major Crash unit are urging anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them immediately. They are particularly interested in speaking to people who may have seen either the distinctive electric motorcycle or the silver Ford Falcon travelling in the Mirrabooka area prior to the 9am crash.
