The Peel Community Foundation has officially opened applications for the Together for Tomorrow Pinjarra Giving Fund, a significant funding initiative designed to support youth-informed projects. The fund will distribute a minimum of $40,000 per year from 2025 through 2027, providing substantial financial backing for initiatives that align with its goals. Grants ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 are available for new or expanded projects. These funds are specifically targeted at not-for-profit organisations with an Australian Business Number (ABN) that are based in Pinjarra and capable of delivering projects within a 12-month timeframe.
This initiative is delivered in partnership with Pinjarra Junction Shopping Centre and local community leaders, highlighting a collaborative approach to community support. According to PCF chair Kristie Tonkin, this partnership underscores the vital role local businesses can play in fostering community wellbeing beyond conventional funding models.
