A man has sustained serious injuries following a targeted drive-by shooting at a residential property in Western Sydney on Saturday night.

The incident occurred on Northcott Road in Lalor Park at approximately 11:35pm on Saturday. According to New South Wales Police, multiple gunshots were fired into the home from a passing vehicle.

A 46-year-old man who was inside the property at the time was struck by the gunfire. Emergency services were promptly called to the scene.

Paramedics treated the injured man at the location before transporting him to hospital. Authorities have confirmed he was in a stable condition upon arrival for further medical care.
