The Yorkshire Sculpture Park has unveiled a powerful new exhibition titled Hold to This Earth, showcasing the work of Indigenous American artists. The show brings together over 50 works by 20 artists from across North America, spanning painting, sculpture, textiles, and video installations.
Connecting to Land and Heritage
The exhibition emphasizes the deep relationship between Indigenous peoples and the land. Many pieces draw on traditional techniques and materials, such as beadwork and birch bark, while addressing contemporary issues like environmental degradation and cultural survival.
