Kate Refused to Speak to Prince Andrew Before Epstein Scandal

A royal expert has revealed that Catherine, Princess of Wales, would "refuse to speak" to Prince Andrew at family gatherings long before his name appeared in the Epstein files. The Duke of York's ties to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein have led to investigations for sexual offences, misconduct in public office, and corruption.

Royal Expert's Revelations

Maureen Callahan appeared on The Royals Uncensored podcast, where she claimed that Kate Middleton avoided the disgraced royal at events. "[Royal biographer] Andrew Lownie said that for quite a long time before the Andrew story blew up, Catherine would refuse to speak with him at family gatherings," she said. Callahan also noted that Prince William "wanted nothing to do with him."

Future Under King William

Callahan predicted that when William becomes king, Andrew will be "fully expunged." Royal author Russell Myers echoed this in William & Catherine: The Intimate Inside Story, stating that the late Queen sought to protect Andrew but William has made it clear he will show no mercy. Myers added that Charles attempted to honour his mother's wishes but stopped short of pushing for Andrew's complete banishment.
