Split Enz Announce 2026 Australian Reunion Tour

Legendary New Zealand band Split Enz has announced their first Australian tour in 20 years, with arena shows scheduled for May 2026. The reunion comes 16 years after the band last performed together and coincides with the 50th anniversary of their debut album Mental Notes.

The tour will kick off with a headline set at Byron Bay Bluesfest in April 2026, followed by arena dates in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Adelaide. The band will also headline Christchurch's Electric Avenue festival in February 2026.

Split Enz, formed in Auckland in 1972 by Tim Finn and Phil Judd, evolved from a psychedelic art-pop experiment into a new wave force by the late 1970s. Their theatrical live shows and hits like 'I Got You', 'I See Red', and 'Message To My Girl' cemented their legacy.
