Australian pop singer Peach PRC has cancelled her upcoming concerts in Perth and Brisbane after falling ill. The 28-year-old artist, whose real name is Shaylee Curnow, announced the cancellations on social media, citing doctor's advice not to travel.
In an Instagram post, Peach expressed her devastation, stating she had come down with the flu and would not be allowed to travel. She assured fans she is looking into rescheduling the Perth show and will provide an update as soon as possible. Brisbane ticket holders will be contacted directly regarding refunds.
Peach's illness follows successful shows in Melbourne, Adelaide, and Sydney last week, which she described as some of her biggest Australian performances yet. She has not yet made a decision on her upcoming New Zealand shows in Wellington and Auckland.
This is not the first time Peach has faced challenges during a Perth performance. During a 2023 gig at the Astor Theatre, she struggled to maintain composure, laughing uncontrollably during songs and apologizing to fans afterward. Despite these setbacks, she remains committed to delivering memorable shows.
Peach's tour supports her new single 'Miss Erotica,' which marks a new era in her artistry. Supporting acts include Sweden-born, LA-based singer Maude Latour and Sydney artist Salty.
