Police are confident they will identify a woman responsible for a bizarre act of vandalism at a service station in Sydney’s south. Security cameras captured the moment a woman deliberately scratched the length of a car with an air pump at the South Hurstville BP.
The incident occurred while the vehicle’s driver was inside the service station, unaware of the damage being inflicted on their car. The offender appeared unhurried, taking time to key the entire side of the vehicle.
Adding to the audacity, the woman then calmly pumped up her own tyre before leaving the scene. The investigation continues, with police working to identify the offender from CCTV footage.
