The mother of Tess Crosley has spoken out in defense of her daughter amid the ongoing scandal involving Brisbane Lions star Lachie Neale. Kaz Caesar, Crosley's mother, claimed that her daughter has been unfairly portrayed as the 'villain' in the situation.
In a comment on a TikTok video about the scandal, Mrs Caesar wrote, 'One person has been allowed to be the villain and told to keep quiet right from the beginning.' She also rejected suggestions that Crosley was enjoying the attention, stating, 'People say she is loving the attention — far from the truth.'
Crosley's younger sister, Ceinwen Parsons, also defended her, saying there is a 'heartbreaking' story behind the saga and urging the public to remember that Crosley is 'just a human.'
The scandal emerged in December when Jules Neale, Lachie's wife, made the alleged affair public by removing Crosley and her husband from her Instagram and posting about being 'betrayed in the most unimaginable way.' Lachie Neale later apologized and stepped down as co-captain of the Brisbane Lions.
Crosley has not made any public comment on the matter, but recently shared a cryptic photo captioned, 'There is always another story, there is more than meets the eye.' Meanwhile, Jules Neale has been posting about moving on, including a video montage captioned 'That’s some lemonade,' a reference to Beyoncé's album about infidelity.
