Celebrity chefs Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary have welcomed twin baby girls, announcing the news just one day before Christmas. In a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, the proud parents revealed they named their daughters Claudia and Charlotte.
The couple, who first started dating after appearing on this year's season of MasterChef Australia: Back to Win, shared a sweet picture of their newborns with the caption, “Merry Christmas from our family to yours.”
Cleary told Stellar in June that their relationship developed naturally, saying, “Nothing was ever rushed or forced — we just enjoyed spending time together.” He noted that Todd, being from Melbourne, knew all the places to go, and they enjoyed activities like beach trips, go-karting, and dinners.
The couple announced in October they were starting a family together, later revealing they were expecting twins. In November, they shared the news with a golf-themed gender reveal post on Instagram, writing, “What’s better than a hole in one, two holes in one!”
Cleary has since moved from Sydney to Melbourne to live with Todd and her 14-year-old son, Phoenix, from a previous relationship. Todd first competed on MasterChef in 2014 on season six and returned in 2022 for Fans and Favourites, while Cleary first competed in 2023 on season 15.
