Maison De Sabré Unveils Trio Collection Handbag With Over 720 Ways to Wear

Cult Australian brand Maison de Sabré, beloved by Meryl Streep, has launched the Trio Collection, a personalisable handbag system. The collection, released on 14 May 2026, centres on a full-grain leather crossbody bag with interchangeable accessories, offering over 720 styling combinations.

The core piece is The Soft Trio, a stitch-free trifold bag made from a single piece of European leather, featuring a full-length brass zipper, detachable strap adjustable across seven lengths, and natural suede lining. It retails for $559 AUD.

Three companion accessories expand the possibilities: The Utility Strap ($169 AUD) is a webbing strap with a dual-tone Bonbon Charm zipped pouch; The Twist Handle ($149 AUD) is a hand-tied upcycled leather handle adjustable for hand or shoulder carry; and the limited-edition Bow Padlock Charm ($109 AUD) uses upcycled leather and a functional brass padlock, with no restocks planned.

The collection introduces two new colourways: daisy yellow and brick red. All items use DriTan technology, a sustainable tanning process, sourced from LWG Gold-Rated European tanneries. The Twist Handle and Bow Padlock Charm incorporate upcycled leather offcuts, supporting the brand's goal of 95% material utilisation.

Co-founder and creative director Omar Sabre said the collection is designed as a system of infinite possibilities, crafted to adapt and transform, blending longevity with playful optimism through colour.
