Fitness and wellness advocate Laura Henshaw, 32, has given birth to her first child, a baby boy named Atlas, with husband Dalton. The couple shared the news on Instagram, posting a photo from the hospital with their newborn.

Atlas, a name meaning 'enduring,' has grown in popularity in recent years. The baby was born on December 3, and Henshaw shared additional pictures of him wrapped in a blue and green knitted blanket.

Well-wishers included her Keep It Cleaner co-founder Steph Claire Smith, WAG Kellie Finlayson, former Miss Universe Australia contestant Olivia Molly Rogers, Love Island Australia star Anna McEvoy, and NRLW superstar Abbey Holmes, who recently became a mother herself.

Henshaw has been open about her journey to motherhood. Last year, she hosted a podcast called 'Do I want kids?' where she explored the topic with experts and women with and without children. She said she wasn't sure if she wanted children but felt she had to make a decision.

In an interview with news.com.au, Henshaw noted that cost was a major concern for many considering parenthood. For her, the biggest fear was juggling a career and motherhood. 'My biggest fear is, can you do both? Can you have a career and have children? It is a real fear to become no longer relevant,' she said.

Earlier this year, Henshaw called out people for asking if she was pregnant based on her appearance, stating that such questions are inappropriate and can be hurtful for those struggling with infertility or other issues.
