Car Crashes Into Home Beauty Business in Melbourne, No Injuries

A car ploughed into a home-based beauty business in Melbourne’s southeast on Friday, miraculously causing no injuries. The white Honda CRV crashed into the front of a house on Viewbright Rd in Clyde North at about 2.35pm.

The driver, a 73-year-old Sri Lankan national, was uninjured, and no one was home at the time of the crash. The part of the home that was struck is used for an at-home lash and brow business.

Video of the aftermath shows extensive damage to the front of the house, with equipment from the business scattered across the floor. Business owner Emily expressed relief that the incident did not occur while she was working with clients.

Emily described the crash as a “horrifying incident” that could have been much worse. She noted that the car flew around a corner at a roundabout with such force that it destroyed the front of her home, causing significant damage to both her residence and her beauty business.

She thanked her neighbours, clients, friends, and family for their support, saying her heart was broken by the devastation. No other details about the driver or the cause of the crash have been released.
