Ashleigh and Tommos celebrated their love with a backyard wedding that was both simple and lighthearted, exactly as they envisioned. The couple first met nine years ago and got engaged in Melbourne over dinner on the weekend of the 2025 AFL Grand Final.
The ceremony took place on April 17, 2026, in Ashleigh’s parents’ backyard. Tommos and his groomsmen arrived in three muscle cars, one of which he had purchased to surprise his bride. After the ceremony, the newlyweds headed back to their own house for the reception.
Ashleigh found her Madi Lane dress at Luv Bridal, while Tommos purchased his suit from M.J. Bale. The couple described the day as an amazing feeling, arriving home to find everyone in their backyard.
