Amy Schumer Shares Bikini Photos, Focuses on Self-Love After Divorce

Amy Schumer has shared a series of bikini photos on Instagram, celebrating a new chapter focused on self-care and self-love following her divorce from Chris Fischer in December. The comedian posted pictures of herself in various swimsuits and outfits at home while packing for a trip, signaling a positive outlook.

“This year is about self-care and self-love. No makeup. No filter,” Schumer captioned the photos. “Let’s all appreciate our health, our families, our friends and have the best year of our lives.” She also included the hashtags #perimenopause and #csection, referencing her C-section scar after welcoming her son, Gene, in 2019.

The post drew praise from celebrity friends. Jennifer Coolidge commented, “Wow! WOW WOW!! Go Amy!!! XO.” Jennifer Love Hewitt added, “Yess! Have always loved you! Happiness and self love all the way!”

In the photos, Schumer posed in red and black bikinis, two dresses, and a silky loungewear set, all with a wide smile. She noted that her mother took the pictures while she was packing for a trip.

Schumer’s post comes one month after she confirmed losing over 20 kilograms. In December, she said on Instagram, “I didn’t lose 30 lbs, I lost 50. Not to look hot, which does feel fun and temporary. I did it to survive.” She has previously shared that she underwent liposuction, tried Ozempic, and now takes weight-loss medication Mounjaro.

Schumer announced her divorce from Fischer in December, stressing the split was amicable. She wrote, “Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after 7 years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son.” She clarified in typical comedic fashion that the divorce was not related to her weight loss.
