Olivia Newton-John’s daughter has shared an intimate family video, officially saying goodbye to her mother four years after her death.

Chloe Lattanzi, the daughter of the late Australian star and actor-dancer Matt Lattanzi, posted a video on Sunday showing herself walking through a Melbourne garden while spreading her mother’s ashes.

The clip was shared ahead of this year’s charity walk, the final event to be held in Newton-John’s honour.

The iconic singer, songwriter and actress passed away in August 2022 at the age of 73 at her ranch in Southern California after a long battle with breast cancer.

“Sprinkling your ashes in the sacred garden where we will be holding our final walk,” Lattanzi, 40, said. “But not our final fundraiser.”

The video also appears to briefly show Newton-John’s husband, John Easterling, sitting on a stone in the background.

This year’s Olivia’s Walk for Wellness fundraising event will be held at Melbourne’s Alexandra Gardens in October.

Participants can take part in person in Melbourne or virtually from anywhere in the world while raising funds for the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.

Inspired by the Australian star’s hit single Let’s Get Physical, participants are encouraged to dress in their best 1980s-inspired outfits.

For 13 years the community event has brought people together to walk in support of those living with cancer, honouring loved ones while celebrating connection, hope and wellbeing.

The beloved Melbourne fundraiser began in 2013 and has raised millions of dollars to support patients at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre.

Organisers have announced this year’s event will be the final Olivia’s Walk for Wellness.

“My darling community please celebrate this last walk as mama is as a new beginning,” Lattanzi captioned the video. “Energy must transmute, change, elevate as we do, as nature does. So this is our last walk ... Now we fly. Please share to reassure our scared community this is the move mama wanted to make. I know her better than anyone stars are appreciated, they go towards my cause.”

A post shared on Newton-John’s Instagram confirmed while the walk is coming to a close, her vision will continue.

“This isn’t goodbye - it’s a celebration of Olivia’s legacy and a look ahead to the future,” the post said. “The @ONJCancerCentre continues to evolve and grow, ensuring more patients and families can access the care, support and wellness services they need. Before this chapter ends, we hope you’ll join us one last time.”
