A New Chapter for Singapore's Hospitality Scene
Singapore's luxury hotel landscape has welcomed a significant transformation with the rebranding of the former InterContinental Singapore. This esteemed property has now joined Marriott International's prestigious The Luxury Collection portfolio, operating under the new name Frasers House, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Singapore. This move marks a fresh era for the hotel, blending its rich heritage with enhanced five-star amenities and services.
Prime Location and Accessibility
Nestled in the vibrant Bugis district, Frasers House is perfectly positioned for travellers seeking to immerse themselves in Singapore's cultural tapestry. The area is renowned for its Malay and Arabic heritage, with key attractions like Haji Lane and Sultan Mosque in Kampong Glam just a short walk away. For convenience, the hotel is mere steps from the Bugis MRT station, providing seamless access via the Downtown and East/West lines to major sites such as Chinatown, Little India, City Hall, Gardens by the Bay, and Orchard Road. Additionally, the East/West line offers a straightforward connection to Changi Airport, making travel effortless.
Luxurious Accommodations and Dining
Frasers House showcases a harmonious blend of traditional Peranakan-inspired design and modern luxury. Guests can choose from generously sized rooms, with Classic and Heritage options spanning 38 square metres. For more space, Junior and Heritage suites feature separate sitting areas at 52 square metres, while the Premier suite offers an expansive 69 square metres. To celebrate this new chapter, the hotel has introduced the Frasers House Signature Stay package, available from SG$499 (approximately AU$550) per night for a limited time. This package includes a US$100 (around AU$140) dining credit redeemable at the hotel's exceptional restaurants: LUCE, known for its Italian buffet with live stations; Man Fu Yuan, serving Cantonese classics; and the Lobby Lounge, offering all-day dining, afternoon teas, and creative cocktails.
Unique Experiences and Culinary Delights
Beyond accommodations, Frasers House enriches guest stays with curated experiences. A complimentary weekly guided sensory journey through Bugis and Kampong Glam engages all five senses, featuring stops at historic shophouses, Art Deco architecture, and local artisans. Daily, guests can enjoy the Afternoon at the House, where Singaporean dishes like laksa and chicken rice are reinvented as signature cookies, paired with innovative teh tarik variations. For hands-on learning, The Maker's Table cooking experience at LUCE, priced at SG$38++, teaches guests to prepare local favourites such as Singapore chilli crab sliders and nyonya chendol, accompanied by traditional drinks.
Package Details and Availability
The Signature Stay package is available until May 31, 2026, and includes:
- A one-night stay for two in a guest room of choice.
- A US$100 food and beverage credit for use at LUCE, Man Fu Yuan, and The Lobby Lounge.

This rebranding not only elevates the hotel's offerings but also provides travellers with an immersive way to explore Singapore's culture and cuisine in style.
