The Coffee Club, Australia’s largest homegrown cafe chain, is offering a unique promotion: customers who bring in a takeaway coffee cup from another cafe can receive a free coffee until Sunday, June 21. This quirky hack aims to encourage coffee lovers to compare the chain’s brew with their usual choice.
New Coffee Guarantee Nationwide
In addition, the chain has launched a “Coffee Guarantee” across all its 200-plus stores. Any espresso-based coffee that is not made exactly to order will be remade for free. This includes incorrect milk type, wrong coffee (decaf or regular), incorrect temperature, missing syrup, wrong size, or wrong style.
Applies to All Espresso Drinks
The guarantee covers all 16 espresso-based drinks on the menu, both hot and cold. The Coffee Club uses Three Stories specialty coffee beans, roasted in Melbourne and independently graded to specialty standards.
Barista Training and Customer Confidence
Over 1,200 baristas have been trained at The Coffee Club in the last two years. Nikki Price, General Manager of Marketing and Product, said the guarantee is designed to give customers confidence. “Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do — and this guarantee backs that with action. We’re proud enough of our barista-made specialty coffee to put a guarantee on every single cup,” she said.
Price noted that increasingly personalised coffee orders have raised expectations. “Coffee orders have never been more complex — alternative milks, cold brews, cold foams, creative flavours and more. That’s exciting, but it raises the bar on service. Fixing a coffee on the spot, for free, no fuss – it’s how we want to build real trust and loyalty.”
The Coffee Guarantee is available at all Coffee Club stores across Australia.
