Man Airlifted After Being Trapped Under Hydraulic Lift in Bakers Hill

A man in his 40s has been flown to hospital with serious injuries after being trapped under a hydraulic lift for several hours in Bakers Hill, a town in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region.

Emergency services responded to reports of the incident on Tamma Road at approximately 3:15pm on Wednesday. The man was trapped under the lift for several hours before being rescued.

He was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital via the RAC Rescue Helicopter with serious injuries. It remains unclear whether the incident was a workplace or farming accident.
