Government Officials Praise Grant Impact

Peel Minister Jessica Stojkovski highlighted the recipients' capabilities, stating that the projects reflect the strong and vibrant nature of Peel's business community. "From manufacturing and tourism to hospitality and Aboriginal-owned enterprises, these projects demonstrate the diverse opportunities the RED grant program supports," Ms Stojkovski said.

Regional Developments Minister Stephen Dawson emphasized the program's role in diversifying regional economies and creating sustainable employment. "Since its inception, the WA Labor Government has invested over $5.8 million across 53 locally-driven projects in Peel, helping businesses grow and contribute to a resilient regional economy," Mr Dawson noted. He added that targeted investments like these lift productivity, support industry expansion, and deliver real benefits for local workers and communities.

The RED grants program is part of a broader $60.85 million investment over 11 years aimed at fostering economic development in regional areas through locally driven initiatives.
