Three people have tragically lost their lives in a devastating head-on collision that left two vehicles severely damaged in South Sydney.

Crash Details

Emergency services rushed to Rocky Point Road in San Souci following reports of a two-car crash around 12:30 am on Saturday. Upon arrival, they found a white Audi resting on its roof, while a blue Camry had its roof completely smashed in.

The male driver of the Audi, along with both the driver and a passenger in the Camry, were pronounced dead at the scene.

How the Crash Occurred

According to 7NEWS, the Audi was launched into the air after colliding with a dividing barrier, before landing on top of the Camry. The impact left both vehicles unrecognisable.

Rocky Point Road has been closed in both directions as the Crash Investigation Unit works alongside police to determine the exact cause of the incident.
