A man has lost his life following a tragic ride-on mower incident at a residential property near Ipswich, in Brisbane's western suburbs.
The victim, believed to be aged in his 60s, was performing maintenance work on a ride-on mower when the accident occurred at approximately 6:15pm on Thursday at a home in Haigslea.
Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene and discovered the man in a critical condition, suffering from multiple traumatic injuries.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed that paramedics provided immediate medical treatment for his severe injuries at the location.
Despite their efforts, the man could not be revived and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Police have stated that the death is being treated as non-suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward as part of the ongoing investigation.
