A fortunate punter is set to enjoy an exceptionally memorable long weekend after securing a generous $1 million prize from Friday's Lotto draw.
The winner, based outside Western Australia, will have more than just a public holiday to celebrate after matching all six winning numbers in the April 24 Millionaire Medley draw.
The life-changing numbers drawn were 17, 3, 13, 36, 7 and 40, with supplementary numbers 45 and 12.

West Australians did not leave empty-handed, with one local claiming a substantial $5,752 from the division two prize pool.
Additionally, 27 WA residents boosted their finances with a $461.60 win from the division three prize.
Recent Super66 Success
WA also saw success in a recent Super66 draw, where a Mandurah FIFO worker turned a $20 investment into more than $253,000.
“I wondered if it could be true,” he said. “I didn’t sleep that night because I still couldn’t really believe it, so I called on Sunday to make sure it was real.
“The fact it was my birthday the following week made it even harder to believe.”
The young winner, who purchased 20 games at $1 each, has a clear plan for his windfall — using it to ease pressure on his mortgage after buying a home just a few years ago.
“I’m still young and know if I’m sensible, this can go a long way,” he said.
