Kyle Sandilands Reveals New Gig with Pauline Hanson

Kyle Sandilands has stunned fans by revealing he has been working with Pauline Hanson and One Nation since his departure from KIIS FM. The former radio host has spent the last few months helping the senator and her party with their messaging strategy.

Sandilands Praises Hanson

In an interview with Game Changers hosts Craig Bruce and Irene Hume, Sandilands spoke highly of the One Nation leader. "She is really a surprise," he said. "She's one of my favourite people now."

Sandilands also admitted he has introduced the controversial senator to new circles. "Not my gangster friends. But more of the upper society types who have also expressed a great interest in her messaging," he explained.

Embracing the Orange Wave

The former KIIS FM presenter said he is "loving the orange wave" and praised One Nation MP Barnaby Bryce. "I spent time with both of them, and they're very inspirational. They're not what everyone thinks they are … a lunatic racist party of country bumpkins that think that the world should change."

This revelation comes as Sandilands secured a $12.09 million settlement with ARN Media, ending a legal battle over the termination of his broadcasting contract. The dispute stemmed from an on-air clash on February 20 with co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson, which led to the cancellation of The Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS FM.

Relationship with Jackie O

Speaking about his relationship with Henderson, Sandilands revealed they are now "loosely communicating." He said, "I've apologised a half a dozen times … and I said to her, 'look, regardless of what's been said … any time that I've made you feel anything less than wonderful, I really apologise, and hopefully one day we can talk about that,' and she was very appreciative of that."

The 55-year-old broadcaster added that he remains fiercely protective of Henderson. "People will see me in the street and from time to time might be a bit negative about Jackie, and I will shut them down instantly. She's like a sister to me. I've known her for 30 years and I just can't engage in that."
