Homicide detectives are investigating after a 35-year-old woman was found dead at a home in Pakenham, in Melbourne's southeast, on Sunday morning. Emergency services were called to the Sunnybank Way residence about 8:10am following reports of an unresponsive woman. Paramedics attempted to revive her, but she was declared dead at the scene.
Man Hospitalised, Speaking with Police
A man who was at the home at the time has been taken to hospital and has already spoken with police. Homicide Squad detectives are now on scene, assisting local detectives with the investigation. Police said, 'Police will await the results of a post mortem as the circumstances surrounding the woman's death remain unclear.'
