Missing Canberra man in hi-vis jacket found safe

ACT Policing has located a 47-year-old man who was reported missing from Canberra's south, after he had not been seen or heard from for more than 24 hours.

The man was last seen in Garran, about 9am on July 7. He was described as Caucasian, approximately 184cm (6 feet) tall, with a medium build, brown hair, and brown eyes.

In a public appeal, police said he was last seen wearing a fluorescent orange high-visibility jacket, long black pants, and black shoes.

Police Express Concern

An ACT Policing spokeswoman stated, "Police hold significant concerns for his welfare, and are requesting the public's assistance to locate him."

The man has now been found safe, and police have thanked the community for their assistance.
