Ross Bradshaw from Nottingham recalls his mother being asked to write a sentence with a subject, object, and verb while confused and stressed in hospital. She responded by writing, “I will not do this,” giving a withering look.

Tim Scott from London shares that his brother, during frequent hospital visits, would respond to the request to count backwards from 20 to zero by asking, “Shall I do that in English, French, German, Welsh, Norwegian or Latin?”
A Lighthearted Reply About the Queen
Jason Hill from Stoke-on-Trent recounts being asked by his practice nurse during the reign of Elizabeth II, “How many children does the queen have?” He replied, “Too many!” which did not amuse the nurse.
