Trump: UFC Cage Stays, Iran Talks Ongoing

US President Donald Trump has compared his UFC octagon to the Eiffel Tower, saying he may “never, ever” remove it from the White House lawn. The comment came during a live update on US politics and the Middle East.

Trump on Iran Talks

Mr Trump claimed that the US and Iran are speaking “continuously,” denying reports that Tehran had broken off contact over Israel’s attacks on Lebanon. “Fake News Reports that the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the U.S.A., stopped speaking a few days ago are false and erroneous,” Mr Trump said on Truth Social on Tuesday.

Israel-Hezbollah Conflict

Earlier, Israeli drone strikes killed eight people in Lebanon hours after Mr Trump said Israel and Hezbollah had agreed to “stop all shooting”. Iran pulled out of peace talks in protest at Israel’s attack on Lebanon and Gaza.

On Monday night, Mr Trump told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that he was “f***ing crazy” and that everybody hated Israel. Mr Netanyahu said he had cancelled strikes on Beirut, but strikes continued today.
