Iran Drone Strike on Kuwait Airport

An Iranian drone strike on a passenger terminal at Kuwait’s international airport killed an Indian citizen and wounded 63 people on Wednesday, as conflict flared between Tehran and US forces in the Gulf. Kuwait’s military condemned the strike as an act of “criminal Iranian aggression”, while Iran’s Revolutionary Guards accused US forces of provoking a response by targeting a tanker and a communications tower on the country’s Qeshm Island.

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at a reporter in the Oval Office, accusing her of having “hatred in her eyes”. The incident occurred during a press briefing, where Trump took aim at the journalist’s questioning style.

Trump-Netanyahu Phone Call

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump has confirmed that he had a tense exchange with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and called him “f***ing crazy” during a fiery phone call. “I was a little bit perturbed at his constantly fighting with Lebanon,” Mr Trump told The NY Post in an interview aired on Wednesday about the row with his close ally two days earlier.

Israeli Strikes on Lebanon

Lebanon said Israeli strikes on Wednesday killed at least nine people in the country’s south, including two paramedics, while another raid hit a car near Beirut. The Israeli military, meanwhile, said it intercepted a “hostile aircraft” and two projectiles that crossed into Israeli territory from Lebanon.
