Background and Success

Horler founded Cascada in 2004 with composers and record producers DJ Manian and DJ Yanou. The trio performed together until 2021. Everytime We Touch reached top 10 status worldwide, including number two in the UK and number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. The follow-up hit Evacuate The Dancefloor became a worldwide number one song and was a top five hit in Australia.

In 2007, Horler was awarded the World Music Award for World’s Best Selling German Artist.

Recent Collaborations and Evolution

Horler continues to evolve her sound while staying true to her signature high-energy style. Recent collaborations include work with Jax Jones and Timmy Trumpet, and a release with Steve Aoki titled Everytime We Touch (Remake), reimagining the anthem two decades on.

Beyond Music

Beyond her musical success, Horler raised Cascada’s profile as a judge on Deutschland sucht den Superstar in 2012 and represented Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest with Glorious in 2013. Born in Bonn to British parents, she was inspired by her father, jazz musician David Horler, and early role models Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston to pursue a music career.
