DJ Tigerlily to Perform at Perth Scorchers Boxing Day Bash

DJ Tigerlily is set to bring her electric energy to the Boxing Day Bash when the Perth Scorchers take on the Hobart Hurricanes at Optus Stadium. The 33-year-old will perform alongside saxophonist Nat Sax, aiming to get the expected 40,000 cricket fans dancing before the main event.

Fans can expect to hear her newly released track 'King', created in collaboration with Luca Testa, along with a 'mega mash of everything that you know and love with a bit of an electro pop twist'. Tigerlily, whose real name is Dara Hayes, said she is excited to perform in Perth and hopes the crowd's energy will be high after Christmas celebrations.

Perth Scorchers general manager Jess Kelly said Tigerlily's performance will take the event to a new level. 'She has played some of the world's biggest stages, and having her bring that energy to Perth is incredibly exciting,' Kelly said.

Tigerlily, who has been DJing for 15 years, admitted she is not a huge cricket fan herself but said her husband is, and she often watches the sport because of him. She has upcoming gigs in NSW, Queensland, New Zealand, and Europe next year.
