A significant search operation is underway for a teenage boy from Perth’s northern suburbs who has not been seen for 23 days. Western Australia Police issued an urgent alert on Wednesday morning, requesting the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Declyn McNamara.
Declyn was last sighted on Methuen Way in Duncraig on April 6, 2026. Police from Hillarys have expressed welfare concerns for the young teen, who is believed to be spending time in the Alkimos area and various shopping centres in the northern suburbs.
Authorities have provided a detailed description of Declyn: he is light-skinned, stands at 5 feet 7 inches (170 cm) tall, and has a slim build. He has short dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. His typical attire includes oversized t-shirts, black clothing, jeans, black shoes, and he often wears a grey Hoodrich hoodie, as seen in the photo circulated by police.
