Police in Geelong are searching for two men who allegedly used a meat cleaver to rob a Chicken Treat outlet in Australind. The incident occurred around 9:00pm local time last night, when the suspects threatened staff with the cleaver and a knife before making off with an undisclosed sum of money.
According to authorities, both men are believed to be in their late teens or early 20s. They were described as wearing bandannas, tracksuit pants, sunglasses, and motocross gloves during the robbery.
No injuries were reported in the incident. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
