Brown Brothers has introduced a new summer drink, Lush Lychee Moscato, now available on Australian shelves. The wine combines the brand's popular Moscato with lychee flavor, following a Meta study that found 46% of respondents chose lychee as their dream drink flavor.
Emma Brown, Head of Innovation and fourth-generation family member, expressed surprise at the choice but noted lychee's global trendiness. 'Lychee is exotic, juicy, and screams summer. It's trending globally in food and drinks, and paired with Moscato's light sparkle, it's a match made in paradise,' she said.
The winemakers describe Lush Lychee Moscato as their strongest release yet, ideal for hot summer days. Unlike some limited editions, this product is a permanent addition to the Brown Brothers portfolio, according to Emma Brown.
Brown Brothers, which has been crafting wine since 1889, emphasizes innovation while respecting tradition. 'We respect tradition, but we're not afraid to party,' Emma Brown added. The company hinted at more flavors to come, teasing that summer 2026 will 'taste amazing.'
The brand also shared a cocktail recipe, the Lychee Love Cocktail, which blends Lush Lychee Moscato with elderflower liqueur, lime, and soda. The drink is described as a light, floral, and effervescent spritz perfect for summer celebrations.
