Molly's Irish Pub to Open Second Perth Location in Victoria Park

Molly's Irish Pub has announced the opening date for its second Perth location, set to open on Friday, February 13, at 774 Albany Highway in East Victoria Park. The pub, which has been a popular fixture in Highgate for two years, will take over the former Palace Arcade space.

Owners Niall Tolan and Lee Behan, originally from Donegal and Dublin respectively, said the new venue will mirror the original's offerings, including staple menu items such as the classic spice bag, Sunday roast, and a variety of Irish beers on tap. Executive chef Mark McColl, also from Ireland, will oversee the kitchen, delivering dishes like beef and Guinness pie, steak sandwiches, and seafood options.

The pub will feature Guinness, Kilkenny, and Magners Irish Cider on tap, along with signature cocktails. Mr Behan noted that the Highgate location sells thousands of pints of Guinness weekly, making it the largest independent account in Australia, and he hopes to surpass that at the new venue.

The venue will initially have a capacity of around 250 patrons, with plans to expand with an outdoor area. It will be fitted with Irish memorabilia and host events such as live music, quiz nights, sports screenings, and community initiatives. The owners emphasized their commitment to Irish hospitality and community building.
